During vacation weeks and off days, there are endless options for fun and relaxation in the city of Chicago for orthopedic residents at UIC.  Being the third largest city in the U.S., if you can think of it, we’ve got it.  Residents enjoy some of the best restaurants in the country, with Chicago being frequently voted one of the best towns for foodies.  For the art inclined, there are multiple museums, theatres, and comedy clubs.  Despite being a concrete jungle, the city offers plenty of outdoor activities, with concerts and festivals at Millennium Park, biking along the riverwalk and lakeshore trails, several sandy beaches, and numerous golf courses easily accessible just outside the city.  Other popular attractions include Wrigley Field and the Chicago Cubs, Lincoln Park Zoo, Shedd Aquarium, and the Navy Pier.
